Find your ‘thing’
Did you know that it is Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW) this week?….and we all know the benefits that physical exercise can bring to mental wellbeing – better sleep, sense of achievement, happy hormone release, builds self esteem, more energy etc …the list goes on.
It sometimes puts people off when you say the word ‘exercise’, but it doesn’t have to be gruelling & it definitely doesn’t have to be something you detest!!!
Finding your ‘thing’ is the secret – whether its swimming, cycling, going to a class, riding on a space hopper, chasing your kids (or grandkids!), gardening or just plain walking – do it because it makes YOU feel good.
